Cookie Policy
1. Summary — the short version
This website sets no cookies today. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking scripts, no fingerprinting, and no use of localStorage or sessionStorage to identify you. The only third-party resource is Google Fonts (typefaces), explained in Section 4.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
- Cookies — small text files a website stores on your device. "Session" cookies expire when you close the browser; "persistent" cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. "First-party" cookies are set by the site you visit; "third-party" cookies are set by other services embedded in the page.
- Similar technologies — localStorage/sessionStorage, pixels/web beacons, and script-based fingerprinting can identify or track users in similar ways; where law regulates cookies it generally covers these too.
3. What this Site actually uses
| Category | Status | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Not used | The Site functions entirely without cookies. Scroll state and animations run in-memory only and are discarded when you leave. |
| Functional / preference | Not used | No preferences are stored on your device. |
| Analytics / performance | Not used | No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording. [If GA4 or similar is added: name the tool, cookies set, lifespans, and provider here, and deploy a consent banner first.] |
| Advertising / marketing | Not used | No ad networks, no remarketing tags, no cross-site tracking. |
4. Third-party resources: Google Fonts
The Site's typefaces (Saira, Manrope, Space Mono) load from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives your IP address and browser user-agent — that is inherent to fetching any web resource. Google states the Fonts Web API does not set cookies and that font requests are not used to build advertising profiles; see Google's privacy documentation for details. [Production recommendation, already in the dev handoff: self-host the fonts to eliminate this transfer entirely — also improves performance. EU case law (e.g. German LG München, 2022) has treated Google Fonts IP transfers as requiring a legal basis, so self-hosting is the cleanest path for Spain/EU visitors.]
5. Legal framework
Cookie and tracking rules that may apply to visitors of this Site include: the EU ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Spain (LSSI-CE Art. 22.2) together with the GDPR (consent required for non-essential cookies); the UK PECR; the UAE PDPL and, where applicable, DIFC/ADGM regimes (consent-based processing); the KSA PDPL; and India's DPDP Act. Because the Site sets no cookies, no consent banner is currently required; Section 6 explains what happens if that changes.
6. If we introduce cookies in future
Before any non-essential cookie or tracking technology goes live we will: (a) update this policy with a complete cookie table (name, provider, purpose, lifespan, first/third-party); (b) deploy a consent banner that blocks non-essential cookies until you opt in, with equally easy "accept" and "reject" choices and a way to change your mind later; and (c) keep records of consent as required by law.
7. Managing cookies yourself
You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site settings; Safari (macOS/iOS) — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data; Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data; Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions. Blocking cookies will not affect this Site, since it uses none.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not track visitors, there is nothing for DNT or GPC signals to switch off. If we ever add analytics, we will state here how such signals are honoured.
9. Changes
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date; the cookie table in Section 3 will always reflect the current, complete list.
